WR Expo collage

There are some exciting changes for Worley Rewards 2015. Although Worley Rewards Qualifying Points reset to “0” on January 1, members who have achieved Tier 1 or higher by the end of 2014 will continue to enjoy those benefits until March 31, 2015, including access to the monthly quiz, game, special offers page and Worley Concierge.

A Peer-to-Peer recognition program offers an exciting new member benefit in 2015 (see the adjacent post). There are also changes to the award of Qualifying Points for State Licenses and some certifications. Starting January 1, those points will only be awarded on the day they are submitted new and on each renewal date following in the year they are posted. Previously they were awarded annually on the first day of the program, with new ones added throughout the year.

Stay tuned for exciting announcements over the next 60 days – more good things coming!

Worley Introduces Peer-to-Peer Awards

Award certificate_blank

New in 2015, employees at Worley now have the option to nominate their co-workers for special recognition. Worley employees who have registered for WORLEY Rewards may nominate any other employee at Worley for special recognition by using the Peer to Peer Recognition link from the Promotions page on the WORLEY Rewards portal. There are no restrictions on nominations based on employee classification, rank, company division or location.

Each registered WORLEY Rewards member may submit nominations up to a maximum of 2,000 Spendable Points per month. 500 Spendable Points is the recommended amount for each nomination submitted, but members may propose up to a maximum of 1,000 Spendable Points if they believe the nominated individual is especially deserving of the larger recognition.

Each submission must be approved by Worley management prior to award. Management will be notified immediately upon the member’s submission over the WORLEY Rewards portal. On approval the recipient will receive the award in his or her Spendable Points account and will be recognized publicly on the WORLEY Rewards portal and other company media outlets as appropriate.

Award submissions will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined for each of the recognition types listed below. The nominees should have demonstrated a level of service to the company and their fellow employees that exceeds the minimum standards expected of a Worley employee.

The nominating member should explain the nomination in the Comments section of the submission, including details that clearly demonstrate the nominee’s level of achievement and the reason that employee should receive the award.

Service Above & Beyond

This award recognizes a Worley employee for taking ownership of assignments and providing superior customer service. It should be given only to those individuals who have performed above and beyond what would be considered adequate or expected of the job while working with Worley customers and their policyholders.

Teamwork Plus

This award is given to fellow employees whose performance on the job supports the success of their entire team. Examples include mentoring or teaching other employees, above-average due diligence when completing files, consistently providing clear documentation that facilitates the work of other team members and taking on assignments that are above and beyond what is expected of an employee in that position.

Leading by Example

This award is given to a fellow employee for outstanding leadership on the job. The recipient should demonstrate the capacity to lead and support fellow team members in their assignments. Although it can be given to a manager or an employee who temporarily assumes such a position, it may also be given to an employee who holds no official management position. Such a person may support their fellow employees by improving morale, consistently striving to enhance the work environment for the entire team and stepping in to solve problems that affect the entire team.

Innovation Excellence

This award is given to an employee who fosters innovation by developing a system or technology that improves productivity or safety and helps Worley to more effectively meet the requirements and objectives of its customers.

Everyday Hero

This award is given to an employee for extraordinary achievement that may fall outside the categories listed above. It may be given for a specific achievement or for consistent long-term support of fellow team members in small ways that make a difference.
